72 officers still missing: army
Seventy-two army officers serving in the Bangladesh Rifles are still missing as frantic searches for more bodies are on two days after the rebellion in the paramilitary forces as the army Saturday evening came up with an account of dead, missing and survived officers.
‘We have so far retrieved bodies of 63 officers, confirmed identities of 47 of them, 33 officers survived and 72 are still missing,’ director of army intelligence Brigadier General Mahmud Hossain told a press conference at the army headquarters in Dhaka on Saturday.
